Abdullah Badawi had come out in public to defend Najib Abdullah Razak against insinuations that Najib was involved in the murder of Altantuya Shariibuu, a 28-year old Mongolian woman who was murdered here in 2006.
This was despite the fact that RPK (Raja Petra Kamarudin) had claimed that Rosmah Mansor, wife of Najib Tun Razak, was present when Colonel Aziz Buyang placed C4 explosives on the body of Altantuya.
